Summer Story Camps

Children aged 9-12 years are eligible to apply for the summer story camps. Camps are available from June 17-21st and from June 24-28th. Both the camps are available online for anyone globally and in-person for Austin. To register for the camp, please apply using the form below.

The course fees for online programs is $275 and the fees for in-person programs is $375. Our Indian program is offered in partnership with Millennium India Education Foundation here. This does not include transport or additional materials that the student may use.

Summer storytelling program details:

We have two programs available this summer for ages 9-12 years. The workshops are designed to improve reading, active listening, creative thinking, and build cognitive empathy. Children are also encouraged to choose a story medium that brings out their voice. Group work is encouraged.

Week 1: This is an introductory program teaching basics of storytelling and creative writing using several different techniques.

June 17-21st, Online, 2-5pm CT, fees $275, Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day
June 17-21st, Austin, 10-1pm CT,
fees $375, Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day

Day 4: Story blueprint & tools for storytellersLearn what a blueprint means and how to stay motivated as a storyteller
Day 5: Present your story, certificate and audio publishing prize!Group writing to finalize story and present it to the peers and coach

Week 2: This camp is for children who may have already attended a workshop in the past. Week 1 students who want to enroll for week 2 will be given preference. If this is the only time that works for you, you are welcome to attend. This program is typically a step up from the first week and encourages more creative exploration.

Please make a full payment a week before the camp to ensure you have a spot. We limit entries to 15 students per camp. The fee is nonrefundable. For severe issues including sickness or other unexpected events, camp tickets will be valid for 12 months. If in-person camps are cancelled for unforeseen circumstances, participants will have valid tickets for up to 12 months.
